I took the liberty to write up a readme file for this app
since CiaBpi who wrote it never got around to putting one in.
By no means do I take credit in the development of this software.

OLconfig is a small application for quick changes to the registry settings
of Outlaws. Even though usefull in a singleplayer enviroment OLconfig
is at it's best when playing Outlaws over a LAN or Internet, IE in a IP game.

Installation
************
There is no installation of the application itself. Just unzip to the directory of
your choice. You should create a desktop shortcut to make life easier for yourself.

The OLKeys.reg is needed to store your settings. By running the OLKeys.reg once, you 
have made the changes nessesary to the registry and can delete the OLKeys.reg if you 
like.

You should now be ready to start.


Features
********

Player
OLconfig stores player profiles. These profiles store your Keyboard, mouse and Joystick 
settings. The individual settings can be chared between profiles, such as keyboard from 
player 1 and mouse from player 2 can be used by player 3 in a third profile.

Keyboard
The keyboard configuration is not yet implemented. However by creating and selecting a 
player profile in OLconfig you can create a keyboard layout from within Outlaws that can 
then be shared with other profiles in OLconfig.

Mouse
Mouse settings work just like in Outlaws. Left, middle and right buttons are configurable
along with X and Y axis sesitivity.

Joystick
Not yet implemented. 
IF anyone is still using Joystick please let CiaBpi know about it, and it will most likely 
be fixed.

Options
sound control for FX, Taunts, Cutscenes, Music, Effects. Check boxes for Auto Aim, Auto Pitch
, Invincibility, Cross Hair etc etc. 
Under special you can even check out what DLL files Outlaws is currently using. Possibly good
for bug tracking.

Taunts
Helps you set up the 10 taunt slots available in Outlaws. First column shows the taunt key, the 
second column shows the taunt edit key combo, and the third column is the .wav sound to be played.

Multiplayer
Prolly the most important feature of OLconfig. From here you control multiplayer game settings 
like game time and/or frag limits. Game and player names are also altered from this window.
And now to the main feature, the IP storage. OLconfig takes away the need to write IP addys 
down on paper before starting Outlaws. Now you can just copy and paste the IP addy into OLconfig
after the host has given it to you. And when you start Outlaws the join IP number will be there
waiting for you. 

Known bugs

There are no bugs that I have found, however some functionality is not yet implemented, such as
keybaord and joystick setup.

This is a freeware! Sure you can always try to hunt CiaBpi down for a questions and answers session
but try to think before asking.

However unlikely, the author of this application take no responsibility for any damage or system 
failure that may occur as a result of installing any using this software. All installation and 
executing of this software is done on your own risk. 
The files in the zipfile was scanned for virus at it's release, however, due to it's freeware nature 
it is possible that the files have been used on virus infected systems before distributed to you.
Always use the latest virus detection software, and do not run executables from websites or e-mails 
with questionable origin.
