Title : The Abyss The Second Version 01/02/2001 Filename : AbyssS.lab - AbyssS.rcm - Abyss.txt (Abyss.ZIP) Author : Krummwaffe@Bigfoot.com Description: This is a simple CTF map that can be used in Death Match and Team modes. I tried to combine Heck and Bloody Basin into one simple map. The skull objects on the castle walls are there to help protect respawning people in CTF mode from snipers. The two "towers" in the center are there to prevent an easy Flying Flatlander (you'll have to work a little harder for that trick SOD_Flatlander). The flags are different than normal flags. The BLUE team will get the Union Flag and the RED team will get the Confederate flag. The walls have been flagged not to appear on map mode. This is so you can leave map mode on while you play and keep track of your team-mates. THANKS TO SOD_Warrior for telling me about the 2 bad starting spots for Death Match. These are the lowests spots on the map. (44 FPS on my OLD 233 Pentium with Monster Fusion card) On my Pentium III 500 with Voodoo3 2000 these same areas dip down to 120 FPS.
